Getting
there
Take I-90 Exit 38.
Go right at the Stop sign then watch for
MTS Relay signs that will direct you to
parking and start arena. Bikes may be dropped off up in Twin Falls Parking
area but
cars need to park down on Highway shoulder. Twin Falls park lot is for the
start staging
area only.
The
Start
Finally ! We've come up with a great start scenario:
Bikers will stage bikes in the designated areas on each side of the gravel
access road
that feeds us to the Iron Horse Trail. You will have a mass start, on foot,
in the Twin Falls Park
parking lot, and at 8 AM sharp, run downhill to our MTS Relay banner then
back up
and retreive your bikes and proceed up the access road to the trail (.25
mi.) Its steep but wide and
smooth. At the trail, you will head left (east) 5 miles to the McClellan
Trail Head turn-around.
It is vital you stay on the right side of the trails there will be two-way
traffic. Any passing
must be done cautiously. Let's not have any head-on crashes. Bad race strategy.
Total Mt Bike leg is 15.1 Miles not including the .25 Mile
run. Shorter
than in past years but about the same elapsed time.
